How Can I Exchange My Dinars?

How Can I Exchange My Dinars?

There is currently no exchange market for Iraqi Dinars. It is uncertain when dinars will be openly traded. But until then, below are some ways you can exchange your dinars now.

1. Sell back to dinar dealers
This is the probably the best way to exchange your dinars. Some, but not all, online dealers currently buy back dinars from their customers. You have to check with your dealer to see their policy on buying back dinars. Some dealers are also willing to buy dinars from anyone, not just their customers, but the rates for non-customers may be different.

If you are interested in selling your dinars back, visit our approved seller: DinarProfits.com. DinarProfits.com buys back from both its customers and non-customers.

2. Sell to banks
There are some banks that may buy your dinars. Several of these banks, however, are located in the Middle East. You will need to contact these banks directly to find out if they are willing to exchange your dinars. Some of these banks include, the Central Bank of Iraq, the National Bank of Jordan, and the National Bank of Kuwait. Keep in mind that there when sending money overseas there is always the risk that it might get lost during the delivery or transfer.

3. Sell to money collectors
Find a local Coin or Paper Money dealer and contact them to see if they are willing to buy your dinars. Or find out about local Currency Shows and attend one. See what the buy/sell rate is for the Iraqi Dinar. You might be able to sell your investment gradually to Banknote dealers and collectors, who generally pay much more for uncirculated banknotes than investors do.

4. Sell through ebay
You can try to sell your dinars through ebay auctions. Ebay is the most uncertain option as you might not get anyone to bid on your dinars and/or it may take a long time to sell your dinars depending on how you price them. However, with Ebay you have the ability to set your price point, where as with the previous three options, you will be given a quote for your dinars. If you do sell on Ebay it may be useful to check out other online dealers to help you set your price point.
